Juvenile Support Program
Boys. In. Need. of. Direction (BIND)
The support program aims to reduce boys’ crime and violence. Promotes prevention and early intervention programs that are making a difference for boys and young people and their communities, and through research and programming which works to strengthen and support boys who face the school to prison pipeline.
Our interactive and innovative curriculum for juvenile offenders between the ages of 10 to 18. It explores the stories of 13 Nobel Peace Laureates and the strategies they used to overcome problems in their lives and their communities. Through this age-appropriate curriculum, boys will explore their own identities and reexamine the choices they make including their role models and the peer groups to which they belong. Boys also develop leadership and problem-solving skills while engaging in service projects that are aligned with the mission of Boys Lead Foundation.
